D.G.’s will take you through a variety of Welsh dances and a few from across the border. The music is mainly Welsh with a sprinkling of tunes from the other Celtic countries. 

The Dance Workshop will be taken by Garym and his wife Liz, who will give instuction in a couple of not so easy ceilidh dances and a couple of fairly easy formal dances. Garym and Liz have been members of Tawerin, the Swansea based Welsh Folk dance team for over 25 years, since their time at University in Swansea. In addition to this, Liz has been teaching dance in schools in Ceredigion and recently has had great success in various eisteddfodau etc with Aberaeron Comprehensive School. The school dance team were eager to attend the festival, however, with important exams looming, it was decided that it would be better if they stayed at home to revise.
